Written and illustrated mediums have never been separate for me. I am a recent graduate from Harvard Extension School with a Master's in International Relations, specializing in Middle Eastern Affairs. I have my BFA in Illustration from the Academy of Art University, where I wrote and illustrated numerous books. I also received the California Arts Scholar Award and the Governor's Medallion, the highest distinction in California for artistically talented students. My poetry has been featured in Women For One, an online publication that seeks to empower women through storytelling. ​
